Should I cancel my GMAT score if it is lower than I expected?

Right after you have seen your score on the screen, you will be given an opportunity to cancel it for free. However, think it over before you take the test. I recommend that you decide on the range of acceptable scores and only then take the test itself. If your GMAT score is up to 100 points lower than your desired score, keep it. There are several reasons for that: first, you need at least some score to be able to start your enrollment process; second, you cannot be sure that you will get your desired score for your second try, and since deadlines are immovable, you need a backup plan. Moreover, business schools have always appreciated persistence in their candidates, and the fact that you have tried the test several times to hit your target score only proves your perserverance.
