What rules should I comply with when in the GMAT test center?

We have already discussed how the GMAT exam looks like. However, it is also important to get familiar with the test ceter rules in order not to get banned from testing. Recommendations on how to behave and what to expect in the test center facilities are outlined below.

1. Make sure to have an original identification with you. Acceptable ID's can differ from country to country. Visit mba.com to find out.

2. You will have to accept GMAC rules and conditions with a digital signature.

3. The test administrator will take a digital photograph and palm vein pattern

4. You will have to leave your belongings in the storage space. No personal items, such as bags, hats, watches, large jewelry, etc, are allowed in the testing room.

5. You will be given a draft consisting of five erasable noteboards. If you are running out of noteboards, raise your hand and the test administrator will provide you with replacements.

6. You are not allowed to leave the testing room without the test administrator's permission.

7. During a 8-minute break you are not allowed to leave the test center's building.

8. The test administrator is authorized to dismiss you from a test session for any disruptive behavior. The administrator has the sole discretion in determining what constitutes disruptive behavior.
